SRM RSK Engaged to Ensure Continuity of Public Services

Recently, the region of Rabat–Salé–Kénitra has experienced heavy rainfall, similar to many other areas in the Kingdom. In response to this situation, the Regional Multiservice Company (SRM) activated all its technical teams to ensure the continuity of drinking water, electricity, and sanitation services as part of the standby arrangement deployed over the weekend.
Specialized teams have been mobilized around the clock across all prefectures and provinces in the region. Their interventions focus on proactive monitoring of networks and sensitive installations, as well as the rapid resolution of any malfunctions related to the intensity of the rainfall or rising water levels, particularly concerning sanitation networks and stormwater drainage points.
The teams remain on constant alert to intervene immediately in case of incidents, whether they involve localized power outages, blockages in sanitation networks, or disruptions in water supply. This vigilance aims to protect citizens and their property while ensuring the continuity of essential services.
This mobilization is part of a preventive approach adopted by the SRM, centered on strengthening monitoring and maintenance mechanisms and closely coordinating with local authorities and civil protection agencies. The goal is to mitigate the impacts of extreme weather conditions and ensure effective flood risk management.
