Strong Start for the Casablanca Stock Exchange

Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Higher

The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading on Tuesday with an upward trend, with its main index, the MASI, rising by 1.13% to reach 18,594.01 points.

The MASI 20, which encompasses the 20 most liquid stocks, saw an increase of 1.16% to settle at 1,468.66 points. Meanwhile, the MASI ESG, which tracks companies with the best ESG ratings published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, gained 0.85% to hit 1,241.09 points.

Additionally, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, reflecting the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises, advanced by 0.97% to 1,836.72 points.

On Monday, the MASI had closed down by 0.49%.
