On Thursday, the Chamber of Advisors adopted, by a majority vote, the entire draft budget law (PLF) No. 50.25 for the 2026 fiscal year. This adoption took place during a plenary session presided over by Fouzi Lekjaa, the minister delegate for budget affairs.

The bill received 36 votes in favor, 12 against, and 6 abstentions, confirming broad support for the budgetary direction proposed by the government for the 2026 fiscal year.

Earlier in the day, the Chamber had already approved the first part of the draft law, marking a key milestone in the adoption process of this strategic document, which outlines the economic, social, and financial choices of the Kingdom.

In accordance with legislative procedures, the PLF 2026 will now be forwarded to the House of Representatives for examination during a second reading before its final adoption.
