According to the official QNA agency, the two leaders emphasized the importance of reducing tensions and prioritizing political dialogue and diplomacy, which they deemed the best approach to manage the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, its impact on energy and supply chains, and to ensure energy security within the region.

The meeting also focused on the cooperative relations between Qatar and Italy, with particular emphasis on economic and energy development and how to support and enhance these partnerships across various sectors.
