The General Assembly of the Royal Moroccan Table Tennis Federation Sets Directions for 2026

The city of Mohammedia hosted the annual general assembly of the Royal Moroccan Table Tennis Federation on Saturday, April 11, 2026, reflecting the sporting season of 2025. This meeting brought together representatives from affiliated clubs as well as members of the governing body, marking a significant organizational step focused on evaluating the sports results and projecting future perspectives.
Opening and Quorum Verification
The proceedings began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the verification of mandates and the quorum, ensuring the legal regularity of this annual assembly.
Governance and Transparency at the Heart of the Proceedings
In his opening speech, the Federation President, Anas Ziaty, emphasized the importance of this statutory meeting in reinforcing the principles of good governance and transparency in the management of national table tennis, commending the efforts made by various stakeholders in the sport.
The agenda also included the review of the minutes from the previous general assembly, as well as the designation of scrutineers and supervisors for the minutes to ensure the integrity of the voting and deliberation processes.
Adoption of the Moral and Financial Reports
Participants reviewed the moral and financial reports related to the 2025 fiscal year. Both reports were unanimously adopted, alongside the presentation of the auditor’s report, which provided a detailed analysis of the Federation’s financial situation.
Approval of the 2026 Program and Governance Reforms
Regarding future prospects, the assembly approved the proposed action plan and the budget draft for the 2026 season. These decisions reflect a commitment to continue developing infrastructure, training systems, and competitive levels, both nationally and internationally.
Additionally, participants validated the appointment of an auditor, set the annual membership fees, and appointed members of the disciplinary committees to strengthen governance and disciplinary mechanisms.

The proceedings concluded with the reading of a message of loyalty and fidelity addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, signaling the end of the session in an atmosphere characterized by a collective sense of responsibility and commitment to the development of Moroccan table tennis.
