The King of Jordan Reaffirms His Country’s Support for Lebanon and Calls for De-escalation
The King of Jordan, Abdullah II, emphasized on Thursday the urgent need to halt the Israeli attacks on Lebanon, particularly those targeting civilians, highlighting the importance of protecting populations and maintaining stability.
Jordan’s Solidarity with Lebanon
In a phone conversation with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, the monarch reaffirmed Jordan’s support for the Lebanese people, expressing his country’s willingness to provide any form of aid that could enhance Lebanon’s security and stability.
Call for Increased International Mobilization
King Abdullah II also called for heightened international efforts to end the escalation and reinforce the ceasefire, especially following the agreement reached between the United States and Iran.

Finally, he underscored that the stability of Lebanon is a key pillar of regional security, urging enhanced international coordination to prevent any further escalation of tensions.
