The Kingdom’s Water Reserves Continue to Rise

Significant Increases in Water Reserves in Several Reservoirs Across the Kingdom

In the past 24 hours, from Thursday, February 19 to Friday, February 20, 2026, several reservoirs across the Kingdom have reported notable increases in their water inflows, contributing to the enhancement of national water reserves and improving filling rates.

In the province of Settat, the Al Massira Dam leads in terms of received volumes, with an estimated inflow of 16.2 million cubic meters, bringing its filling rate to 25.8%.

Meanwhile, in the province of Azilal, the Bin El Ouidane Dam recorded inflows of 10.5 million cubic meters, which increased its filling rate to 67.3%.

In the prefecture of Rabat, the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah Dam benefited from an inflow of approximately 1.3 million cubic meters, reaching a filling rate of 95.8%.

Still in Azilal, the Hassan Ier Dam received nearly 1.1 million cubic meters, raising its filling rate to 66.7%.

These figures confirm the positive trend in water resources at the national level, marked by continued substantial inflows in several reservoirs throughout the country.
