The third edition of the Educational Conference on Smart Cities at the Arab and African level.

Arab and African Visions and Strategies for Smart, Sustainable, and Safe Regions
Under the slogan "Arab and African Visions and Strategies for Smart, Sustainable, and Safe Regions," the Mohammed VI Museum of Water Civilization in Marrakech will host the third edition of the Pedagogical Conference on Smart Cities on May 13 and 14, 2025. The event is organized under the auspices of the Ministry of National Territorial Planning, Urbanism, Housing, and City Policy; the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development; the Ministry of Equipment and Water; and the Ministry of Transport and Logistics.
This conference, in its third edition, is organized by "Innovatiel Engineering," in partnership with the municipal council of Marrakech, in coordination with the Moroccan Association of Prefectures and Provinces Council Presidents (AMPCPP), the Moroccan Association of Municipal Council Presidents (AMPCC), the United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLG Africa), and the Arab Smart Cities Forum (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan).
The event aims to bring together key players from Arab and African cities in the field of smart and sustainable urban technologies, while also showcasing their technological innovations designed for smart regions and cities. It seeks to create connections between engineering consulting firms, architects, urban planners, and solution developers, on one hand, and policymakers on the other, to foster new relationships that contribute to boosting major projects in Morocco in preparation for the 2030 World Cup. This year, Qatar and Cameroon, represented by a delegation led by the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, have also been selected as participants.
