The Underdog Revives the Championship and Propels AS FAR to the Top

The professional national championship “Inwi” of the first division has seen new developments following the update of two overdue matches from the 11th round. These results have had a direct impact on the standings, notably marked by AS FAR’s ascendancy to the top of the table.
A Tight Race for First Place
AS FAR now occupies first position with 30 points from 14 matches, taking advantage of the missteps of its competitors. Raja Casablanca follows in second place, also with 30 points, but from 15 matches, giving the edge to the Military team. Meanwhile, Wydad Casablanca completes the podium with 29 points from 13 matches, lurking in wait with additional games in hand that could allow them to target the top spot.
Increased Competition at the Top of the Standings
Behind the leading trio, Maghreb de Fès holds the fourth position with 28 points. Renaissance de Berkane and COD Meknès follow closely with 26 points each, remaining near the top pack and still in contention for prominent roles in the upcoming matches.
A Highly Contested Mid- and Bottom-Table
In the middle of the table, several teams are striving to stabilize and improve their positions. Difaâ El Jadida is in seventh place with 20 points, followed by FUS Rabat with 18 points. Other clubs, like Kawkab Marrakech and Olympique Dcheira, each with 16 points, exemplify the intensity of the competition.
At the bottom of the table, the fight for survival looks challenging. Union Yacoub El Mansour is at the bottom with just 7 points, while Union Touarga (9 points) and Olympique Safi (11 points) remain under pressure and will need to react quickly to avoid relegation.
A Promising End to the Season
Given the narrow gap between the top teams and the inconsistent form of some clubs, the championship promises to be particularly unpredictable. The upcoming matches are expected to deliver intense action, both in the title race and the battle for survival.
