The United Arab Emirates Affirms the Full Effectiveness of Its Air Defense Systems
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates has asserted that the air defense systems of the UAE are fully capable of confronting various aerial threats with great efficiency, emphasizing the country’s high level of operational preparedness.
An Integrated and Multilayered Air Defense
In a statement reported by the Emirates News Agency, the ministry specified that the UAE possesses diverse, integrated, and multilayered air defense systems, covering short, medium, and long-range capabilities.
According to the same source, these systems provide comprehensive protection of the national airspace and are capable of effectively countering various types of threats.
Sustainable Capabilities and Ongoing Preparedness
The ministry also indicated that the country maintains a strategic stockpile of munitions to ensure continuous interception and response capabilities, while sustaining maximum readiness to safeguard national security and state sovereignty.
Rejection of “Groundless” Allegations
Furthermore, the ministry has categorically rejected what it termed as baseless and misleading allegations regarding the advanced defensive capabilities of the UAE.
It emphasized that these claims represent a blatant distortion of the nation’s high level of preparedness, technological development, and operational availability, reiterating that its integrated defense system remains robust and fully operational.
