Here are the weather forecasts issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology for Monday, February 24, 2025:
– Expect fairly cold weather with local frost in the morning and night, especially in the Atlas Mountains and their eastern slopes, the Rif Mountains, and the high plateaus of the Oriental region.
– Misty conditions may develop in the morning and at night over the Atlantic plains, the Oriental region, and the northwestern parts of the Saharan provinces.
– Strong gusts of wind may occasionally raise dust in the southern Anti-Atlas region and the southern provinces.
– Minimum temperatures are expected to range from -1 to 5°C in the High and Middle Atlas, the Rif, and the Eastern high plateaus, from 11 to 17°C in the Souss and Saharan provinces, and from 6 to 11°C in the rest of the kingdom.
– Maximum temperatures will decrease in the southeast and northeast of the Saharan provinces but are expected to rise elsewhere.
– The sea will be mostly calm to somewhat choppy on the Mediterranean, slightly choppy to choppy in the Strait, and choppy to strong elsewhere, particularly between Tarfaya and Laâyoune.
