Weather Forecast for Wednesday, April 23, 2025, by the General Directorate of Meteorology
On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, the General Directorate of Meteorology has outlined the following weather predictions:
- Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected in the High and Anti-Atlas regions, as well as in the Southeast and Northeast of the Saharan provinces.
- There will be low clouds with misty formations during the night and morning over the Saïss region, the Phosphate Plateaus, the Oulmès area, the Northern and Central plains, and the northern parts of the Southern provinces.
- The interior regions of Gharb and Souss, the plains west of the High Atlas, the Southeast, along with the eastern and southern parts of the Saharan provinces, are anticipated to experience relatively warm weather.
- Strong gusts of wind are forecasted for the Tangier region, the High Atlas, the Southeast, and near the central and southern coastlines.
- Dust storms are likely in the Southeast and the western parts of the Saharan provinces.
- Minimum temperatures are expected to range from 4 to 10°C in the High and Middle Atlas, the Rif region, the Oriental, the Phosphate and Oulmès Plateaus, and the northern regions. In contrast, temperatures will range from 16 to 21°C in the extreme Southeast and Souss, and from 10 to 16°C elsewhere.
- Maximum temperatures are predicted to decrease in the Souss region and rise in other areas.
- The Mediterranean Sea will be calm to slightly choppy, while conditions will be slightly choppy to rough in the Strait and between Cap Spartel and Jorf, and rough to very rough in other areas.
