Thursday Weather: Notable Coolness and Scattered Showers in Several Regions
Weather Forecast for Thursday
The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts relatively cold weather in the Atlas and Rif mountain ranges, as well as in the high plateaus, especially during the morning and nighttime hours. In other regions, the sky will be partially cloudy in the extreme south of the country, with light rain expected early in the day.
Low Clouds and Light Rainfall
Low clouds accompanied by light rain showers will form locally during the night and morning hours over the northern and central Atlantic plains, as well as in the Gharb region. Strong gusts of wind are also anticipated along the central coasts.
Temperature Variations
Minimum temperatures will range from -1 to 5°C in the Atlas, Rif, and Oriental regions, between 13 and 20°C in the southeast, south, and near the coasts, and from 6 to 12°C elsewhere in the country. In terms of maximum temperatures, a decrease is expected in the southern provinces, while a slight increase is forecasted for the rest of the territory.
Calm to Moderate Seas
The sea will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean, the Strait, and north of Larache, while it will be moderately choppy to choppy south of Larache.
