Celebrating International Women’s Rights Day in Fès-Meknès
On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day, the Multiservices Regional Society of Fès-Meknès organized a ceremony honoring the women of the company at the provincial directorate headquarters in Meknès. The event emphasized the recognition and appreciation of the vital role women play within the institution. The ceremony took place under the supervision of the General Director, Mr. Mohamed Chaoui.
In his address, Mr. Chaoui lauded the essential contributions made by the women of the company and their active role in improving performance and the quality of services provided to the residents of the Fès-Meknès region. He noted that the representation of women within the society stands at approximately 25%, a figure considered positive, particularly given the technical nature of many jobs associated with the distribution and service sectors.
Mr. Chaoui also highlighted the ongoing efforts of the general management to enhance female representation within the society, emphasizing the importance of their roles and competencies in the company’s development dynamic. He stressed the administration’s commitment to creating more opportunities for qualified female talents to access leadership and responsible positions, aligning with an approach based on equal opportunities and skill recognition.
On his part, Mr. Adel El Oudghiri, delegated to social projects within the company, underscored the significant role of women in society and the professional environment. He stated that their active presence serves as a crucial pillar in reinforcing the values of solidarity and generosity within the company. He further acknowledged the central role women play alongside men in ensuring the continuity of essential services provided to the region’s residents, all while highlighting their professionalism and capabilities in various roles.
This initiative, as Mr. El Oudghiri noted, reflects the culture of recognition and appreciation that the Multiservices Regional Society of Fès-Meknès strives to promote among its human resources, creating an occasion to celebrate the ongoing commitment and contributions of the women in the company.
The ceremony also featured speeches from several executive leaders before the presentation of symbolic gifts to the female employees, offered by the Social Works Association in recognition of their efforts and contributions to the service of the institution.
