Visits to Wastewater Treatment Plants in Marrakech-Safi

As part of a partnership between the Marrakech-Safi Multiservice Regional Company and GIZ, field visits were organized for various beneficiaries at wastewater treatment plants in the Marrakech-Safi region under the CESAR II program.
These visits allowed participants to closely observe how these infrastructures operate, as well as the different techniques used for wastewater treatment, from collection to reuse or discharge into the natural environment.
They also provided an opportunity to highlight the efforts being made toward sustainable water resource management in a context marked by challenges associated with water scarcity.
This initiative aligns with an open approach adopted by the Marrakech-Safi Multiservice Regional Company aimed at enhancing knowledge sharing and expertise, transforming its facilities into a space for exchange and learning for stakeholders, project leaders, and anyone interested in water and environmental issues.
