Water Storage in Dams Reaches 50.1% in Morocco

As of Saturday, January 24, 2026, the overall filling rate of reservoirs in Morocco has reached 50.1%, according to data published by the platform “Maadialna,” which is associated with the Ministry of Equipment and Water.

Significant Increase in Water Resources

The platform indicates that water resources available in Morocco have risen by 79.2% compared to the same period last year, amounting to an increase of 3.7 billion cubic meters. The total volume of water resources now stands at 8.4 billion cubic meters, reflecting a notable improvement in the country’s water situation.
