Weather Alert: Cold Temperatures and Strong Winds Across Several Regions of the Kingdom

Areas Affected by Cold Weather
According to an orange level alert, minimum temperatures are expected to range between -2 and 3°C in the provinces of Figuig, Kérsif, Jerada, Taourirt, Sefrou, Taza, Al Hoceima, and Chefchaouen.
In certain provinces of the Oriental and Middle Atlas regions, such as Tinghir, Al Haouz, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Khénifra, Midelt, Ifrane, Boulemane, and Ouarzazate, temperatures could drop to between -3 and -6°C.

Strong Winds and Sandstorms
Strong gusts of wind, ranging from 70 to 80 km/h, are expected on Monday between 12 PM and 10 PM in the provinces of Figuig, Assa-Zag, Tata, Tan-Tan, Sidi Ifni, Tiznit, Laâyoune-Samara, and Guelmim. These winds could lead to the dispersal of dust or the formation of sandstorms.
