Weather for Saturday, April 4, 2026: Cold Temperatures in the Mountains and Locally Strong Winds
The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts relatively cold weather for this Saturday across the High Plateaus of the Atlas and the Eastern Plateaus, especially in the morning and at night.
Precipitation and Clouds
Relatively dense low clouds accompanied by light rain showers are expected over the plains of the North Atlantic and the northwest of the desert regions. The south of the country should experience partly cloudy to clear skies.
Wind and Dust
Moderate to strong gusts are anticipated in the region of Tangier and in desert areas, leading to localized dust dispersal.
Temperatures
Minimums: between -5 and -1 °C in the High Plateaus of the Atlas, 3 to 5 °C in the Rif and Eastern region, 16 to 20 °C in the southeast, south, and Souss region, and 12 to 15 °C elsewhere.
Maximums: an increase over the northern Atlantic plains and central coasts, with a slight decrease across the rest of the territory.
Sea Conditions
The sea will be slightly choppy to rough in the Mediterranean, the Strait of Gibraltar, and along the Atlantic coasts.
