Weather Forecast for Friday, February 27, Prepared by the General Directorate of Meteorology:

• Chilly conditions are expected in the Atlas Mountains, with morning and nighttime frost.
• The southern provinces will experience mostly clear to partly cloudy weather, with occasional light showers.
• Low clouds and misty conditions are anticipated along the northern Atlantic plains and the Mediterranean coast.
• Strong gusts of wind are predicted over the central regions and the southern provinces, potentially leading to dust storms or sandstorms.
• Minimum temperatures will range from -5 to 0°C in the Atlas Mountains and their eastern slopes, from 6 to 11°C in the Rif and southern Oriental regions, from 16 to 21°C in the southeastern areas, Souss, and locally in the northern part of the Saharan provinces, and from 11 to 16°C elsewhere.
• Temperatures are expected to rise in the Atlas, central Atlantic plains, Tangier region, Souss, and northern southern provinces, while there will be a slight decrease in other areas.
• The sea will be slightly to moderately rough in the Mediterranean and the Strait, with strong to very rough conditions locally, while being slightly to moderately rough north of Larache and between Tarfaya and Laâyoune.
