According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, the weather in Morocco this Sunday will be characterized by instability across several regions of the Kingdom.
Rain and Cloudy Skies in Various Regions
Conditions are expected to be mostly cloudy with rain or showers forecasted for the Oriental, the Rif, the Mediterranean coastline, as well as the mountainous areas of the High Atlas and Middle Atlas.
Snowfall in the Heights
A few snowflakes are anticipated on the peaks of the High Atlas and Middle Atlas due to the drop in temperatures at higher altitudes.
Clouds and Clear Spells Elsewhere
Dense low clouds will affect the northwest of the Saharan provinces, while the northern and central plains will experience partly cloudy to occasionally clear skies.
Gusty Winds and Dust Storms
Strong gusts of wind are expected over the Mediterranean, the Oriental, the central coasts, and the Saharan provinces, locally accompanied by dust storms.
Slight Increase in Temperatures
Minimum temperatures will range between -4 and 3°C in the Atlas Mountains, between 5 and 11°C in the Oriental, the Phosphate plateaus, and Oulmès as well as the Rif, and between 9 and 15°C across the rest of the country.
Maximum temperatures are expected to see a slight increase throughout the day.
Sea Conditions
The sea will be slightly to moderately rough on the Mediterranean and the Strait, rough to very rough north of Larache and south of Tarfaya, and very rough between Larache and Tarfaya.
