Weather Forecast for Saturday, January 10, 2026
The General Directorate of Meteorology has released its weather predictions for Saturday, January 10, 2026:
– Expect chilly to locally cold conditions in the mountainous regions, the Oriental area, the Southeast, and the eastern high plateaus, with possible frost or icy patches.
– Partly cloudy skies are anticipated over the Tangier region, Loukkos, the Rif, and the northern Gharb, accompanied by light scattered showers or mist.
– Morning and evening fog is likely on the northern and southern plains, the phosphate plateaus, the Oriental region, and Rhamna.
– Moderate to locally strong gusts of wind are expected along the Mediterranean coast and in the southern parts of the country.
– Dust storms may occur in some areas of the Sahara provinces.
– Minimum temperatures will range from -7 to -2°C in the Atlas Mountains, from -1 to 3°C in the Rif and eastern high plateaus, from 9 to 12°C in the northwest, near the coasts and in the far south of the Kingdom, and from 4 to 8°C elsewhere.
– Daily temperatures are predicted to see a slight increase.
– The sea will be calm to moderately rough in the Mediterranean, pleasant to slightly choppy in the Strait of Gibraltar, rough between Mehdia and Cape Ghir, and calm to moderately rough elsewhere.
