The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts a significant increase in temperatures this Sunday, particularly in the southern regions of the country.
Light Rain and Thunderstorm Risks
Light rain, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms, is expected in the northern Saharan provinces, the Anti-Atlas, and the Souss region. This precipitation is expected to extend into the following night towards the regions of Haouz, Chiadma, Abda, and Rehamna.
Wind and General Conditions
The sky will be mostly clear with occasional cloud cover across the territory. Strong gusts of wind are anticipated in the region of Tanger, in the High Atlas and Anti-Atlas, as well as in the Saharan provinces, with localized sandstorms.
Temperatures
Minimum Values: Between 2 and 8 °C in the Atlas mountains, the Rif, and high plateaus; between 7 and 13 °C in the northern Oriental region, Saïss, and near the coasts; and between 14 and 20 °C elsewhere.
Maximum Values: Expected to rise across the entire country.
Sea Conditions
The sea will be relatively calm in the Mediterranean and slightly rough to rough along the Atlantic coasts.
