The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts relatively cold weather for the Atlas and Rif mountain ranges, as well as the high plateaus this Monday.
In the southern part of the country, tropical clouds are expected to form, with local showers that may be thunderstorm-like at times. Additionally, low and dense clouds could develop over the northern and central plains, the Saïss region, and the plains to the west of the Atlas Mountains, with a possibility of mist or fog in certain areas.
Strong gusts of wind are also anticipated in the Tangier region, in the southern part of the Kingdom, as well as locally in the Atlas mountain ranges and the Saïss region.
Minimum temperatures will range between -2 and 6 °C in the Atlas and Rif mountain ranges and the high plateaus, between 18 and 23 °C in the extreme south, and between 12 and 18 °C in the interior and eastern provinces of the south, particularly in the Souss region and southeast. In the rest of the country, temperatures will fluctuate between 6 and 12 °C.
As for maximum temperatures, a decrease is expected in the southeastern and extreme southern regions of the country, while a noticeable increase is expected in other areas.
At sea, conditions will be slightly choppy to choppy in the Mediterranean and the Strait, choppy to rough between Mehdia and Tarfaya, and slightly choppy to choppy along the rest of the coast.
