The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts a partly cloudy sky over the extreme northwest of the Kingdom, with scattered light rain showers in some areas.

Fog and Low Clouds in the Morning

During the night and into the morning, dense low clouds accompanied by fog or local mist are expected over the northern Atlantic plains, the Saïss region, the Middle Atlas, the Souss region, and the northwest of the Southern provinces.

Relatively Strong Wind Gusts

Strong wind gusts are also anticipated in the Tangier region, the Rif, the eastern Mediterranean coast, and the Oriental region, which may enhance the feeling of chilliness.

Variable Minimum Temperatures

Minimum temperatures will range from 0 to 6 degrees Celsius in the Atlas mountains, 5 to 10 degrees in the Rif and high plateaus, while temperatures will vary between 15 to 20 degrees in the Southern provinces, southeast, the Moulouya plateaus, and the Chaouia region. Elsewhere in the Kingdom, temperatures will be between 11 and 16 degrees.

Increase in Daytime Temperatures

Daytime temperatures will see a slight increase in the southeast, the Atlas mountains, the southern parts of the country, and near the northern and central coasts.

Choppy to Strong Sea Conditions

At sea, conditions will be choppy to strong in the Mediterranean and the Strait, strong to very strong between Cap Spartel and Ras Ghir, moderately choppy to choppy between Tan-Tan and Laâyoune, and choppy to strong along the rest of the Atlantic coastline.
