The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts relatively cold weather for Thursday morning and night, with the formation of local frost in the Atlas mountains, the Rif, and the eastern regions of the country.
Dense low clouds are expected over the Tangier area, accompanied by light scattered rainfall.
Additional low clouds, sometimes mixed with fog or very light precipitation, will affect the northern Atlantic plains, Saïss area, phosphate plateaus, and Oulmès; as well as the Souss region and the northwestern parts of the Saharan provinces.
Moderate to fairly strong gusts of wind are anticipated along the Mediterranean coast and on the central and southern coastlines.
Minimum temperatures will range from -2 to 6°C in the Atlas mountain ranges, the Rif, and the eastern high plateaus; between 17 and 21°C in parts of the south of the Kingdom; between 12 and 17°C in other southern provinces, the southeast, the Moulouya Valley, and the Souss region; and between 6 and 12°C across the rest of the country.
Maximum temperatures are expected to rise slightly in the central Atlantic plains, southeast, and southern regions, while a general decrease is forecast for other areas.
The sea will be slightly to moderately rough in the Mediterranean, calm in the Strait, and locally slightly to moderately rough, becoming rough to very rough in the evening between Casablanca and Ras Ghir.
