The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts relatively cold weather for this Thursday, April 9, across the High Plateaus of the Atlas Mountains, with the possibility of scattered rain in several regions of the Kingdom.
Scattered Rain and Thunderstorms
Light and scattered rain is expected, along with possible thunderstorms in the central Atlantic plains, the Tanger region, and the northwestern areas of the Southern provinces.
Strong Winds and Local Sandstorms
Moderate to strong gusts are anticipated in the eastern region, the High Plateaus of the Atlas, and the southeast, with a risk of local sandstorms.
Temperatures
Night: Minimum temperatures will range from -5 to 0°C in the High Plateaus of the Atlas, between 12 and 16°C in the Southern provinces, the southeastern slopes, and the eastern region, and from 6 to 12°C in the remaining areas.
Day: Daytime temperatures will rise in the northwestern region, the eastern area, and northern parts of the Southern provinces, while they will drop in the rest of the Kingdom.
Sea Conditions
The sea will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean, slightly choppy to choppy in the Strait, strong to very strong between Larache and Tarfaya, and choppy to rough along the other coasts.
