The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts turbulent weather conditions in several regions of the Kingdom this Thursday, March 26. Expect thunderstorms, which may occasionally be intense, accompanied by localized hail. These precipitation events will particularly affect the eastern part of the country, the High Atlas and its western slopes, Saïss, the phosphate plateaus, Oulmès, Tensift, the Anti-Atlas, as well as the southeast and northeast regions of the southern provinces.

Scattered or light rain, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms, is also anticipated in the Rif, Gharb, the eastern Mediterranean coast, the northwestern provinces of the south, and locally across the northern and central Atlantic plains. The weather will remain relatively cold in the Atlas mountains, especially during the night and morning, with snowfall expected on the peaks of the Middle and High Atlas.

Additionally, strong gusts of wind are forecasted for the Tangier region, along the Mediterranean coast, and in the southern provinces. Minimum temperatures are expected to range from -1 to 6°C in the Atlas mountains, from 6 to 12°C in the Rif and high plateaus, from 16 to 18°C in the extreme southeast and northeast of the Saharan provinces, and between 12 to 16°C in other areas.

During the day, a slight increase in temperatures is expected in the southeast, as well as in the west and south of the Saharan provinces, while temperatures will remain stable or decrease in other regions. The sea conditions will be slightly choppy to choppy in the Mediterranean, the Strait of Gibraltar, and along the Atlantic coast.
