Weather Forecast for Wednesday, August 27: Heat in the Southeast, Strong Winds, and Fog Along the Atlantic Coast

Wednesday, August 27, 2025, is expected to be quite warm in the Southeast regions and the far South of Morocco, according to forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology.
Dense low clouds accompanied by mist or local drizzle are expected in the morning and overnight along the coasts between Tiznit and Boujdour. Fog formation is also anticipated over the Atlantic plains during the same periods.
Additionally, cumulus clouds are likely to develop in the High and Middle Atlas regions, which may lead to localized instability.
Strong wind gusts are forecasted across several regions, notably the Central coast, the Atlas Mountains, the South, Southeast, and the Oriental region, with potential dust storms in some areas.
In terms of temperatures, the minimums will range from 22 to 26°C in the Southeast and between 17 and 22°C elsewhere. Maximum temperatures are expected to rise slightly across most regions of the country.
At sea, conditions will generally remain mild:
Calm to slightly choppy seas in the Mediterranean,
Slightly choppy to choppy in the Strait,
Slightly choppy between Tarfaya and Dakhla,
And choppy to rough along the rest of the Atlantic coast.
