The Directorate General of Meteorology has provided the following weather forecast:

• Expect rain and locally stormy showers in the High and Middle Atlas regions, as well as their neighboring western areas, the phosphate plains, Abda, and Chiadma in the morning.
• Rainfall and locally stormy showers will occur in the Oriental region, the eastern Mediterranean, and the Rif in the afternoon and through the night.
• The skies will be intermittently cloudy, with scattered rain in the Saïss region and the northwestern Saharan provinces.
• It will feel quite cold to cold in the mountains, the southeast, and the high plateaus.
• Snowfall is anticipated in the High and Middle Atlas at altitudes above 1,400 meters.
• Strong gusts of wind are expected in the Atlas mountains and the Saharan provinces.
• Minimum temperatures will range from -11 to -2°C in the Atlas, from -1 to 6°C in the Rif and eastern high plateaus, from 12 to 14°C near the coast, and from 6 to 12°C elsewhere.
• Daytime temperatures are projected to rise slightly in the northwestern part of the kingdom but decrease in other regions.
• The Mediterranean Sea will be calm to slightly choppy, while conditions will be slightly choppy to choppy in the Strait and rough to very rough between Cape Spartel and Tarfaya, with choppy to rough conditions elsewhere.
