Weather Friday: Rain, Snow, and Wind Gusts in Several Regions of the Kingdom

The General Directorate of Meteorology of Morocco forecasts rain and downpours for Friday, March 27, particularly in the Eastern regions, the High Atlas, the Southeast, and the plains, along with snowfall at the peaks of the High and Middle Atlas.
Clouds and local fog
The sky will remain partially cloudy with local precipitation expected in the Chaouia, Abda, and Souss regions. Fog banks are anticipated in the northern and central Atlantic plains during the morning and night, as well as dense low clouds along the eastern Mediterranean coastline and the northwestern provinces of the South.
Local wind gusts
Moderately strong wind gusts are forecasted in the Tangier region, requiring caution, especially in exposed areas.
Temperatures and sea conditions
Minimum temperatures will range from -1 to 6 °C in the High Atlas, Rif, and plateaus, from 8 to 12 °C in the Saïs and Western areas, and from 13 to 16 °C throughout the remainder of the Kingdom. Daytime temperatures are expected to drop in most northern regions, with a slight increase elsewhere.
The sea will be slightly rough to rough on the Mediterranean and the Strait, with rough to very rough conditions between Mahdia and Tarfaya, and slightly rough to rough along the rest of the coasts.
