Weather on Wednesday, March 25: Heavy thunderstorms and a drop in temperatures across several regions of Morocco.

Morocco, Tuesday, March 24, 2026 – The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts for Wednesday, March 25, locally heavy thunderstorms in the High Plateaus of the High Atlas and their neighboring western regions, as well as in the High Atlas, the Southeast, and the Souss, Abda, and Chaouia areas.
Additionally, light and scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms, are expected in the northern regions of the southern provinces, the Oriental region, and the Middle Atlas. The peaks of the High Atlas and Middle Atlas may experience snowfall.
The wind will be moderate to locally strong in Tangier and the southern provinces.
The minimum temperatures will range from -1 to 6 °C in the High Atlas, between 6 and 11 °C in the Rif and high plateaus, and between 12 and 18 °C in the rest of the regions. Maximum temperatures are expected to decrease in the Southeast and the northern Saharan provinces.
The sea will be slightly to moderately rough in the Mediterranean Sea and the Strait of Gibraltar, as well as along the Atlantic coast.
