The following weather forecast has been issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology:

• Cold weather is expected during the morning and night over the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, the Southeast, and the Eastern High Plateaus.
• Thunderstorms are likely in the Rif, Tangier region, Loukkos, Saiss, northern Gharb, and the Middle Atlas.
• Rain or showers will occur in the High Atlas and its neighboring western regions, the Phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the northern Atlantic plains, and the eastern Mediterranean.
• Light rain is anticipated in the central Atlantic plains and northern Oriental regions.
• Snowfall is expected in the Atlas and Rif regions.
• Strong gusts of wind are expected in the Northwest, the Rif, Saiss, the Mediterranean, Oriental, Middle Atlas, central coast, and the northern provinces of the South, alongside localized dust storms.
• Minimum temperatures will range from -6 to 2°C in the Atlas region, -1 to 6°C in the Rif, High Plateaus, and Southeast; 12 to 17°C in the interior of the Southern provinces and near the central and southern coasts; and 6 to 12°C elsewhere.
• Daytime temperatures will approach a slight decrease in the Northern and Central regions, while increasing in other areas.
• The sea will be moderately to rough in the Mediterranean and the Strait, strong to very strong between Cape Spartel and Tarfaya, and rough to strong along the remainder of the coastline.
