Women’s Futsal World Cup: Morocco Defeats Poland 1-0 to Advance to Quarterfinals

Morocco has secured its spot in the quarterfinals! The national women’s futsal team qualified for the quarterfinals of the World Cup after defeating Poland 1-0 on Thursday in Manila during the third day of Group A matches.

The only goal of the match was scored by Jasmine Demraoui in the 29th minute.

On this occasion, Moroccan player Meriem Hajri was named the Player of the Match by FIFA.

The next challenge will be against Spain on Monday—a decisive match that will determine which team will advance to the semifinals.
