Women’s Futsal World Cup: Morocco Triumphs Over the Philippines (3-2)

The Atlas Lionesses Triumph Over the Philippines!
The national women’s futsal team, the Atlas Lionesses, clinched a victory against their Philippine counterparts, winning 3-2 on Monday in Manila. This match marked the second day of Group A in the World Cup, which is taking place from November 21 to December 7 in the Philippines.
The Lionesses scored through Nadia Laftah in the 10th minute, Siham Tadlaoui in the 14th, and Jasmine Demraoui in the 17th minute.
In another group match held earlier, Argentina bested Poland with a score of 3-2.
Morocco had a rough start in their first match against Argentina, suffering a heavy defeat of 6-0, while the Philippines faced a similar fate against Poland, losing by the same score.
Looking ahead to the third day, Morocco will face Poland next Thursday.
Following their recent victory, Morocco sits in third place with 3 points, falling short on goal difference to Poland. Argentina leads the group with 6 points, while the Philippines trails behind without a single point.
