Yemen Commends His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s Commitment to Sustainable Development in Africa

The Republic of Yemen expressed, on Friday in Rabat, its gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for his pioneering role in laying the foundations of sustainable development in Africa and for strengthening the principles of peace, security, and stability, thereby addressing the aspirations of the African peoples for progress and prosperity.
During the sixth session of the Morocco-Yemen Joint Commission, Yemeni Foreign Minister Shayea Mohsen Al-Zindani praised the ongoing efforts of the Kingdom of Morocco to establish a strong African partnership with various regions of the continent and partner states. He highlighted the significant initiatives launched by His Majesty the King to enhance this cooperation.
Mr. Al-Zindani specifically commended the three major initiatives of His Majesty the King in favor of Africa: the Royal Initiative to facilitate access for Sahel countries to the Atlantic Ocean, the Atlantic African States Process, and the Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline Project. According to him, these projects exemplify Morocco’s commitment to promoting continental integration and fostering sustainable development for Africa.
