On the 21st Anniversary of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH): Organization of the Cooperatives Exhibition at the Aïn Sebaâ – Hay Mohammadi Prefecture

The Prefecture of Aïn Sebaâ – Hay Mohammadi, in partnership with the Startup Grow Association, organized an institutional and economic meeting on May 22, 2026, as part of the celebration of the 21st anniversary of the launch of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH). This event aimed to highlight the initiatives and projects supported by the INDH programs.

Among those present were Mr. Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, and the Governor of the Aïn Sebaâ – Hay Mohammadi Prefecture, alongside several economic, institutional, and associative stakeholders.

The event featured two main panels that focused on the challenges of entrepreneurship, economic inclusion, and the social and solidarity economy.

First Panel: Entrepreneurship and Employability

  • Rachid Erssani – General Manager of RoadIT and Treasurer of APEBI
  • Kawtar Mouad – INDH Awardee from Aïn Sebaâ – Hay Mohammadi
  • Salim Taïe – INDH Awardee from Aïn Sebaâ – Hay Mohammadi

This session focused on ways to enhance youth employability, the importance of support and training in creating sustainable economic opportunities, as well as inspiring testimonials from young beneficiaries of INDH programs.

Second Panel: From Inclusion to Financing – Cooperatives as Leverage for Local Development

The speakers for this session included:

  • El Kebira Naâmi – Representative of a cooperative benefiting from INDH programs in Aïn Sebaâ – Hay Mohammadi
  • Meriem Mazini – LinkedIn Morocco
  • Khalid El Bargh – Representative of a cooperative benefiting from INDH programs in Aïn Sebaâ – Hay Mohammadi

This gathering provided a unique opportunity to highlight the role of cooperatives and entrepreneurship in promoting local development, economic inclusion, and the empowerment of youth and women.
