Baccalauréat 2026 in Morocco: Increase in Success Rate and Strong Performance of Girls

The Ministry of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports has announced the final results of the regular session of the 2026 national unified baccalaureate exam. This year’s edition is marked by a significant improvement in the pass rate and the number of graduates compared to the previous year.
Over 262,000 Pass the 2026 Baccalaureate
According to official data, 262,442 candidates from both public and private sectors successfully passed the exam this year, representing a 5% increase compared to the 2025 session, which recorded 250,075 graduates.
The overall pass rate now stands at 64.8%, up from 57% last year, confirming a positive trend in national results.
Girls Continue to Excel
The results also reveal a clear advantage for female candidates. The pass rate for girls is 68.7%, compared to 60% for boys.
Girls make up 59% of all graduates, with 154,881 female laureates, highlighting their strong presence and ongoing performance in the Moroccan educational landscape.
Participation Rate and Results for Private Candidates
The regular session saw 404,957 enrolled candidates, with an attendance rate of 94.9%, indicating strong mobilization around this national exam.
On the side of private candidates, 55,556 participated, with an attendance rate of 55.2% and a pass rate of 37.4%.
In total, the number of graduates, combining both enrolled and private candidates, reaches 262,442 for this 2026 session.
Retake Session and Digitalization of Results
The retake session is scheduled for July 2, 3, and 4, 2026, with results to be announced on July 11, 2026.
The Ministry emphasizes that this edition has been characterized by the continued digitalization of processes related to the exams, including grading and the publication of results, thanks to enhanced electronic systems.
Furthermore, efforts to combat fraud have been intensified through stricter educational and organizational measures.
Finally, results have been sent to candidates via SMS and email, and graduates will be able to download their digital version of the baccalaureate starting June 18, as part of efforts to simplify and modernize administrative services.
