Launch of the 38th Ordinary Summit of the African Union with Morocco’s Participation

The work of the 38th ordinary summit of heads of state and government of the African Union (AU) began on Saturday at the headquarters of the pan-African organization in Addis Ababa, with the participation of Morocco.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, is representing His Majesty King Mohammed VI at this summit.

The agenda for this meeting includes, among other topics, the election of the president and vice president of the African Union Commission (AUC). Delegates will also discuss crucial issues such as the institutional reform of the AU and the establishment of the African Continental Free Trade Area.
