Iraq Extends Airspace Closure for 72 Hours

Iraq announced on Saturday the extension of its airspace closure for all incoming, outgoing, and transit flights for an additional 72 hours.

According to a statement from the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority, this measure will take effect at 12:00 PM on Saturday and will remain in place until 12:00 PM the following Tuesday.

The Authority specified that this closure is a temporary precautionary measure based on an ongoing assessment of the security situation and regional developments, with a reassessment to be conducted as new information becomes available.
