Rachid Talbi El Alami Represents King Mohammed VI at the Inauguration of Central African President

On Monday in Bangui, Rachid Talbi El Alami, the President of the House of Representatives, represented His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the inauguration ceremony of the Central African Republic’s President, Faustin-Archange Touadera.

The ceremony, attended by heads of state, foreign delegations, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Bangui, and several other dignitaries, saw Mr. Touadera take the oath of office for a new seven-year term as President of the Republic.

During the event, Mr. Talbi El Alami conveyed the congratulations and warm regards of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to President Touadera. He reaffirmed the Sovereign’s ongoing commitment to fostering development and enhancing stability across the African continent.

Accompanying the President of the House of Representatives at the ceremony was Mustapha El Alami Fellousse, Morocco’s ambassador to the Central African Republic.

King Mohammed VI had previously sent a congratulatory message to Mr. Touadera on the occasion of his re-election to the presidency.

In his message, the Sovereign expressed his unwavering readiness to work alongside Mr. Faustin-Archange Touadera to strengthen ever-closer and more supportive cooperation, both bilaterally and across the continent.
