The Bahrain Defense Force announced on Saturday that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 453 drones and 188 missiles since the onset of Iranian attacks, amid escalating regional tensions.

A Significant Military Account

According to authorities, these interceptions have neutralized attacks directly targeting Bahraini territory, underscoring the intensity and frequency of the strikes.

A Violation of International Law

The same source condemned the use of ballistic missiles and drones against civilian infrastructure and private property, labeling these acts as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter. It also warned that these attacks pose a direct threat to peace and security in the region.

A Call for Caution

Authorities urged citizens and residents to remain vigilant, avoid affected areas and any suspicious objects, and refrain from filming military operations to ensure public safety.

A Region Under High Tension

These events are part of a broader military escalation in the Middle East, where Bahrain, alongside other Arab countries, is facing attacks linked to rising tensions with Iran.
