The LIEBOT Group Selects Casablanca to Launch Its First African Factory

LIEBOT Group Expands Internationally with Focus on Morocco

French group LIEBOT is accelerating its international development by focusing on Morocco. Having identified the Kingdom as a priority market for its overseas expansion, the specialist in industrial facades and windows is now preparing to establish its first production unit in Africa, in Casablanca.

The project will be driven by OUEST ALU, a subsidiary of the group and a key player in the French aluminum facade market. The upcoming entity, named Ouest Alu Maroc, will specialize in the manufacturing and installation of aluminum facades, with operations set to commence by 2027.

Casablanca at the Heart of Real Estate Transformation

With this establishment, the group aims to take advantage of the growing dynamism in the Moroccan real estate sector, characterized by the rise of high-end projects and tall buildings, particularly in new business hubs like Casablanca Finance City.

The surge of these projects has led to a significant increase in investments directed towards architectural facades, which have become a strategic element in modern constructions. This evolution opens new opportunities for industries specializing in aluminum solutions and building envelopes.

Morocco as a Strategic Regional Hub

Already established in Germany, Italy, and Poland, the LIEBOT group seeks to leverage the potential of the Moroccan market to further strengthen its international presence. Morocco thus emerges as a strategic platform for the French group to extend its reach across the African continent.

This direction aligns with the group’s overall strategy to diversify its markets and support the growth of high-value-added construction and real estate sectors.

A Family Group Among Europe’s Leaders

Controlled by the Liébot family, the group has its roots in blacksmithing dating back to 1745 in Vendée, before specializing in aluminum in 1965 with the creation of OUEST ALU.

Today, LIEBOT is among the leading European companies in windows and facades, uniting several specialized firms, including K LINE, MéO, BIPA, Ventanas, and Vetrex.

With a revenue exceeding 100 million euros and more than 400 employees, the group continues its growth strategy by targeting high-potential markets, with Morocco now occupying a central role.
