Two Spanish Groups Compete to Build the Future Desalination Plant in Tangier

The Spanish companies Acciona and Cox Energy are among the leading candidates for the contract to design, build, and operate the future desalination plant in Tangier, a significant project aimed at enhancing Morocco’s water security. The facility is expected to achieve a production capacity of 150 million cubic meters of desalinated water per year to meet the increasing demand for drinking water in the region.
