Medical Industry: Chinese Company Aishelun Begins Construction of Its Factory in Tanger Tech

The Chinese group Jiangsu Aishelun Medical Technology Group has officially commenced the construction of its new factory at Tanger Tech, marking a significant milestone in its international industrial expansion. The project is spearheaded by its Moroccan subsidiary InnovMed Tech Group, which specializes in medical devices.

A Strategic Investment of €20 Million

The industrial unit represents an estimated investment of €20 million, funded by the Chinese group through its subsidiaries, without resorting to external debt.

This expansion aims to enhance the group’s presence outside of China and to develop an industrial base dedicated to production and research in Morocco.

A High-Capacity Factory in Tanger Tech

The project spans nearly 60,000 m², of which approximately 31,000 m² will be constructed for production workshops, warehouses, and offices.

Ultimately, the factory is expected to mass-produce medical devices such as incontinence products, protective equipment, and various medical consumables aimed at international markets.

Morocco as a Regional Industrial Hub

The group’s goal is to make Tanger Tech a strategic base to serve the markets in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

The choice of Morocco is motivated by its geographical location, robust logistical infrastructure, and developing industrial ecosystem, particularly in the Tanger region.

Strengthening the Medical Industrial Ecosystem

This project aligns with Morocco’s momentum in high-value-added industries, especially in the medical and technological sectors.

It is also expected to contribute to the creation of new production capacities, the transfer of expertise, and the consolidation of the Kingdom’s position as a regional industrial hub.
