Stellar AfricaGold Prepares 5,000 Meters of Drilling in Morocco

Stellar AfricaGold Inc. Set to Ramp Up Gold Exploration in Morocco

Canadian company Stellar AfricaGold Inc. is gearing up to intensify its gold exploration activities in Morocco. The company confirmed on Friday, August 28, that it is preparing a 5,000-meter diamond drilling program for its Tichka Est project, with a campaign slated for autumn and winter 2026.

According to the company, the program is fully funded and aims to continue assessing the gold potential of the project located in Morocco.

Stellar AfricaGold is currently focusing its Moroccan operations on Tichka Est, which is touted as one of its two major African projects alongside Zuénoula in Côte d’Ivoire. The group also maintains an office in Marrakech and is advancing its exploration efforts primarily in North and West Africa.

A 5,000-Meter Drilling Campaign at Tichka Est

The announced program includes 5,000 meters of diamond drilling over the coming months.

This new campaign will allow Stellar AfricaGold to continue exploring the Tichka Est project and deepen its previous work on the gold discovery.

However, the company did not announce any new resource estimates for the project in its press release on August 28. No new drilling results were disclosed, and the company has not indicated that the campaign has already begun.

The immediate objective remains to continue exploration work in order to better characterize the geological potential of the area.

Stellar AfricaGold Strengthens Its Resources Around Tichka Est

This announcement comes alongside an operation pertaining to the company’s capital incentive mechanisms.

Stellar AfricaGold has granted 1.75 million stock options to five directors and one employee.

These options are exercisable at a price of CAD 0.12 per share and will remain valid until August 28, 2031.

The company also granted 100,000 conditional equity units to Paul Kitto, a director and senior geological consultant.

This grant is tied to a specific condition regarding the group’s gold resources.

A Threshold of 600,000 Ounces, but Not Specifically Linked to Morocco

The 100,000 units granted to Paul Kitto are conditioned upon Stellar AfricaGold achieving a total of 600,000 ounces of inferred and indicated gold resources in line with Canadian standard National Instrument 43-101.

However, it is important not to confuse this threshold with a resource target set for the Moroccan project.

The company’s press release does not directly associate this condition with Tichka Est, so it cannot be confirmed that Stellar AfricaGold aims for 600,000 ounces of resources on its project in Morocco.

This distinction is significant as exploration work continues at the Moroccan site.

Morocco Among the Company’s Key African Projects

Stellar AfricaGold presents Tichka Est as one of its two primary African projects.

The second major asset is located in Côte d’Ivoire, at Zuénoula, where the company is simultaneously conducting an exploration program.

In Morocco, the group has an office in Marrakech and is focusing its efforts on researching and evaluating gold resources.

The continuation of drilling should provide more geological data and allow for a more precise determination of the project’s potential.

Another Drilling Program in Côte d’Ivoire

In parallel to its activities in Morocco, Stellar AfricaGold is advancing its exploration program in Côte d’Ivoire.

At Zuénoula, the company plans to execute 10,000 meters of rotary drilling, which is also presented as fully financed.

This program is being conducted under an agreement with the Australian company MetalsGrove Mining Limited.

Thus, the Canadian group is pursuing an exploration strategy concentrated on several areas in North and West Africa, with Tichka Est in Morocco among its key projects.

Tichka Est Enters a New Exploration Phase

With this new 5,000-meter diamond drilling campaign, Stellar AfricaGold intends to take a significant step in evaluating the gold potential of Tichka Est.

For now, however, the company has not provided any new resource estimates or results to precisely measure the project’s progress.

The upcoming drilling work is therefore expected to be crucial in providing new data on the gold discovery and clarifying the development prospects for the Moroccan asset.

Listed on the Toronto Venture Exchange, as well as on Tradegate and Frankfurt, Stellar AfricaGold continues its exploration investments in Morocco while expanding its African portfolio.
