Morocco: Returning to GMT+1 After Ramadan in Accordance with Government Decree

Morocco will revert to GMT+1 on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 2:00 AM, by advancing the clock by 60 minutes.

The transition to GMT+1 in Morocco occurs immediately after the end of Ramadan, in compliance with government decree No. 2.18.855, adopted on October 26, 2018. This document establishes GMT+1 as the country’s permanent legal time throughout the year. However, during the holy month, Morocco temporarily adopts GMT to better align with the fasting schedule.
