Meeting Between Rachid Talbi El Alami and Fuad Mouradov to Strengthen Bilateral Relations Between Morocco and Azerbaijan
President of the House of Representatives Meets with Azerbaijani Diaspora Committee Head
On Wednesday in Rabat, Rachid Talbi El Alami, the President of the House of Representatives, met with Fuad Mouradov, the Chairman of the State Committee for Working with the Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Mouradov is on a working visit to Morocco, accompanied by a significant delegation.
During this meeting, which was attended by the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Morocco, Nazim Samadov, both parties commended the strength of bilateral relations, which are grounded in mutual respect for territorial integrity and non-interference in each other’s internal affairs. They also highlighted the evolution of relations between the legislative institutions of both nations, placing particular emphasis on the exchange of visits, sharing of expertise and experiences, as well as coordination within various parliamentary forums.
The Azerbaijani side expressed appreciation for the policies and strategies implemented by the Kingdom of Morocco under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, particularly concerning the situation of Moroccans abroad, migration management, and the protection of the rights of migrants and refugees through a humanitarian approach to migration issues.
Finally, this meeting served as an opportunity to underscore the pivotal role of the House of Representatives in supporting national dynamics related to Moroccans worldwide, migrations, migrants’ rights, and asylum policies through legislation, oversight of government action, and the assessment of public policies.
