Moroccan International Youssef En-Nesyri Shines in Fenerbahçe’s Dominant Win Over Rizespor
On Sunday, Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri played a pivotal role in his team’s impressive 5-2 victory against Rizespor during the 13th round of the Turkish Süper Lig.
En-Nesyri netted the fourth goal of the match in the 78th minute, thanks to an assist from his teammate Dorgeles Nene, providing his club with a comfortable lead over their opponents.
Rizespor initially took the lead in the 6th minute with a goal from Ali Sowe, followed by a second goal in the 15th minute from Kazim Latci, capitalizing on a defensive lapse from Fenerbahçe.
However, Fenerbahçe fought back in the second half, narrowing the gap with a goal from Spain’s Marco Asensio in the 55th minute. Brazilian Talisca soon equalized in the 58th minute, before Asensio struck again, giving Fenerbahçe their third goal just three minutes later.
Fenerbahçe solidified their dominance with two more goals, one from En-Nesyri in the 78th minute and another from Archie Brown in the 88th minute.
Following this victory, Fenerbahçe secures 31 points, maintaining second place in the Süper Lig, just one point behind leaders Galatasaray, while Rizespor remains stuck in 11th place with 14 points.
