Hakimi Pays Tribute to Saïss Following His International Retirement

The Moroccan international player Achraf Hakimi has responded to the announcement of former Atlas Lions captain Romain Saïss‘ retirement from international football.

Hakimi expressed his gratitude to Saïss through a message on his Instagram stories, simply writing: “Thank you, legend,” in recognition of Saïss’s significant role within the national team and his long tenure as a leader.

As a reminder, Romain Saïss announced his retirement on Monday, February 23rd, after a remarkable international career spanning 86 matches since 2012.
