RSC Anderlecht Signs Promising Young Moroccan Forward Elyess Dao
RSC Anderlecht made a significant move at the end of the transfer window by announcing the arrival of Elyess Dao, an 18-year-old Moroccan forward, from Amiens (French Ligue 2). A Promising Journey
Born in Toulouse, Elyess Dao began playing football at the age of 6 before joining Amiens last summer to kick off his professional career. In Ligue 2, he made 14 appearances, often coming off the bench, and provided one assist. In the Coupe de France, he scored two goals in three appearances, including two starts.
On the international stage, Dao has already donned the Moroccan jersey, having played five matches with the U18 and U20 teams of the Atlas Lions. His transfer to Anderlecht marks a significant step forward in his development, and the young talent will aim to make his mark in the Belgian league while showcasing his potential.
